From September 15th to October 15th, Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates and platforms the rich history, culture, efforts, and contributions of American citizens with ancestors from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central as well as South America.

Today, we come together to celebrate Earth Day by recognizing the negative impact our society has on the planet, while also demonstrating how we can take action to protect the planet moving forward.

As we enter our next phase of growth, we are excited to announce the appointment of Bill O’Brien as our new Executive Director and Laura Thi Germine, Ph.D., to our board of directors.

Coming up on August 26th, Women’s Equality Day not only commemorates the adoption of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution but also brings awareness to women’s continuing efforts to achieve full equality within our society.

LGBTQ+ Pride is the promotion of self-affirmation, equal justice, opportunity, and increased visibility of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and other sexually oriented and gender identifying individuals. We recognize the importance of honoring the valuable contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals on a daily basis.

Here at the Givinga Foundation, we welcome the opportunity to commemorate important causes and highlight associated charities. Each day, we actively strive to highlight charities and connect people to the causes that they are truly passionate about. The purpose of this post is not only to share history but also to demonstrate ways in which individuals can participate and offer their support through charitable giving.
