With summer beginning to wind down, August has three key opportunities to learn more about giving: International Youth Day, World Humanitarian Day, and Women’s Equality Day. International Youth Day takes place on the 13th and aims to bring awareness and support to children facing societal, cultural, and legal issues.

In this blog, we have highlighted three impactful days that take place throughout the month of July to make the most of the summer feeling and explore causes to jumpstart your giving journey. July 12 is Malala Day, dedicated to celebrating the Nobel Prize laureate who is fighting for women’s rights and access to education worldwide.

June presents various opportunities for taking action, and we want to emphasize two essential causes. Juneteenth, which occurs on June 19th, commemorates the abolition of slavery in the United States and recognizes the accomplishments of African Americans.

May is a great month to explore charitable giving opportunities as it is dedicated to Mental Health Awareness and ALS Awareness. Both of these causes aim to improve the daily lives of those affected and further expand research and resources that could create a better future.

April presents many important charitable opportunities to support. In this blog post, we highlight a few causes you can explore to kickstart your giving this month, such as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, World Health Day on April 7th, and Autism Awareness Day on April 2nd.

While there are many giving opportunities throughout the course of the year, March is a great chance to get involved in some month-specific causes. International Womens Day is on March 8th, Transgender Day of Visibility is on March 31st, and the whole month is dedicated to International Women’s History.
